Our team headed to Palmyra after a resident found their sectional door hanging out of its track. This garage door off track repair in Palmyra began at the top corner, where the trouble started. We checked the curved and vertical track sections for damage before going further. Next, we fitted a new lift cable and wound it correctly onto the drum. Cables that jump a drum almost always pick up kinks and crushed strands. As a result, fitting a fresh cable beats re-spooling a damaged one every time.
Once everything sat true, we ran the door through several full open and close cycles. We also checked the balance by hand with the opener disconnected. The door then travelled evenly along both tracks from top to bottom. We carried out a safety inspection to make sure everything was working properly.
